what if it rains

if it rains, is the whole ship just really crowded or is it ok?

On my first cruise...it rained a couple of days, but i didnt think is was to bad. Disney was good about keeping things under control in all situations. Hope this helped!

i know they try to stay away from bad weather but wondered what activities filled up first?

a friend of mine cruised with Disney and it was a wash out the day they were to be at Castaway Cay. They just sat in the port and looked at C.C. from the ship. She was disappointed but still had a good time.

It rained lightly on the Eastern 12-27-03 NYE cruise on Castaway Cay, but only in the afternoon.
We were already wet from snorkeling, so it didn't bother us. But a lot of folks headed back to the ship.
Before we had kids, my wife and I did 4 cruises in the Caribbean (in the 80's), everyone went to St. Thomas. Last 2 cruises that was our day to sleep in and wander off the ship when we wanted. It was also our day to do things ON the ship.
This time with the kids we did the skyway and city tour, and now with immigration that way it is, you have to be up no later than 7 am anyway in St. Thomas.
