What if free DDP starts mid vacation?

Ok, I know if you begin your stay on the last day of free dining, you will continue to get free dining your length of stay. How does it work if you are begin your stay and free dining starts 2 days later? Does it just kick in? Do you not get it at all? 2 seperate reservations? Will they give it to you 2 days early? What do you think?

You only get it if you book two separate reservations. They will not give it to you automatically or early. You need to book a room only for the first two nights and then a fd package for the rest.

ETA: You can get your same amount of ticket days with the FD package and pick them up early. Here is the ticket sticky. Read post #15 section "I"...

The only date that matters is the date you check in. If you check in outside the promotion dates, you don't get it at all unless you book two separate reservations, check out and check back in again.
