What if CC and Bahamas are too damaged?

So, I have my first cruise booked on the Dream Oct 21 -24. The only ports are Castaway Cay and Bahamas. Just wondering where the ship would go if both places are unsuitable. Is it possible we wouldn't port at all? Will Disney notify us of the changes beforehand? I'm hoping some of the Disney sailing veterans can give me some info. This is so disappointing!

Just my guess, but, IF both ports are still inaccessible, they might work on an alternate port. 3 night cruises, it's difficult to get to any other port and back in that time.

I know that Castaway Cay was skipped for the first couple of weeks after the last big hurricane that went through there. Nassau, pretty sure they're going to get the port open as quick as possible due to the tourist trade.

They may have to change some Dream cruises, in order to make a foreign port for a couple of weeks.

Anything's possible.
