What I Witnessed At Target... Crazy?

I miss Target sooooo much (no Targets in Germany). I often read your posts and wonder if you are hanging out in my old haunts The Logans over by Costco, the rec center, roller skating in Farmington, fresh cookies at the Deadwood Cafe. . .

Ah, yes. Geographically, we are closer to the Target where Wonderland Mall used to be. I'm not a fan of THAT particular store, however. I've had many a steak at that Logan's! Where is the Deadwood Cafe? I'd like to get some cookies!!! Did you ever eat at Doc's in Livonia? That is our FAVORITE!!!

Very likely. If you can afford to, why not wait until the transgression is really apparent. Of course, a store in a busy mall doesn't have that luxury.

This particular statement appears absurd. With no qualifying statements, this implies that the mere act of shopping is shoplifting.

You clearly didn't understand the message you replied to. If you had, you'd have understood that the law I quoted requires concealment.

I wasn't talking about concealing anything. Just eating the contents. The package stays in clear sight in my basket.

Yup that works for many things - probably not apples though!

Okay, re-read the quoted statement 3x and, no, there is nothing about concealment. That's why I mentioned a qualifying statement. That makes all the difference.

It's in Northville. My husband worked in Pymouth and we would meet there half way for lunch once in a while. Yummy cookies. You put in your order for them with your food order so they have time to make them fresh for you. Mmmmmm.
