may just be.

What does "180+10" mean? It's in a lot of posts here, so I assume it means something with Disney Dining, but we all know what it means to "assume"...

Thanks!

Those staying at Disney Hotels may book their priority seating times starting 180 days from their first night (just like everyone else), they however may book an additional 10 day beyond that, hence 180 + 10.

It would really be nice to have a glossary for this site, defining things like:

ITA (I totally agree)

WCC (Whispering Canyon Cafe)
LTT (Liberty Tree Tavern)
CRT (Cinderella's Ripoff Table) (ooops, sorry, Royal Table) :)

Some that I do not really know myself:

DH, DW, DBF, DGF, DD, DS, DBIL etc.

I know they are Husband, Wife, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Daughter, Son, Brother-in-law, but I am not sure if it is Darling, Dumb, Damn, Disowned, Dishonorable, or something else. :)

Used to be, you could make your reservation 90 days in advance so if you were staying 5 days, you could only make your 1st day at the 90 days and then call back the next day for day 2, the next day for day 3, etc. That's if you really wanted to call exactly at 90 days out for each day of your trip.

Now, you can call 180 days out and just make 1 call for your entire trip if you're staying onsite. So, you can call 180 days out from your 1st day on property and make all your reservations at once as long as your trip isn't longer than 10 days.

Clear as mud?

Not a dumb question at all!

You can now book your dining reservations 180 days in advance. Let's say that your trip BEGINS in exactly 180 days. You are now able to book dining for your entire trip (for up to 10 days) and not just for day one. So basically, your trip begins in 180 days, but you can book all of your dining up to 190 days in advance (so long as your trip begins in 180 days or less). Does that make sense?? Not sure if I explained it well!

No such thing as a dumb question. The 180 means the days untill your visit, that you can make your ADR's. The 10 refers to up to 10 days. We are checking in on August 13th. I was able to call on Feb. 14th, and make ADR's for 10 days. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

This information CAN be found on the DIS Abbreviations page. It is handy for those who look.

And the D stands for whatever fits, usually Darling.

Gotcha. I'm usually up-to-speed on all this jargon.

Thanks all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I asked the same thing on another message thread last night but I think it got buried. Good to know...thank you all!
