What I’m looking forward to as a solo traveler

I'm considering a solo trip. My biggest plus is not needing to know where every single bathroom is. After that, it is just being able to take in the atmosphere and not having someone asking what we are going to do next.

Not a solo trip yet, but i often go off by myself for an afternoon when down with my family. I love just taking in like all the buildings in Epcot that people dont stop to look into or at like in Morocco or watch the China show or go into the Norway little museum thing whatever.

Sitting at the bars at nicer restaurants that are hard to get reservations at (Citricos) is one! I also love using the single rider lines for Millennium Falcon, Test Track, and Everest. Plus, getting to have moments where you can just sit and people watch without feeling rushed by anyone else.

Have a great solo trip! I think you'll love it. I also download a book on my phone to read in lines, so maybe do that, too!
As a single rider expect to be stuck as an engineer on the falcon. I have seen my fair share of bad pilots - the funniest was the kid that was too small to reach the hyperspace lever.

I'll be at Disney in 2 weeks, originally planned as a solo trip - but I'll be traveling with a girlfriend...she came in June as well, and in December, my good friend (former college roommate) is coming along. I am accustomed to doing at least 2 solo trips a year, but 2024 will only have 1 solo trip I took in Feb.

It's wonderful to travel with friends, especially ones that haven't been to Disney in years, so both trips will be very enjoyable. But I must say, I'm now looking VERY forward to my 1/31/25 FW Cabins solo trip - I'll have gone a year since my last solo. It's just more relaxing and laid back solo which is why I love them so much.

This will be my first ever solo trip to WDW. I’m doing a short trip to try it out- 3 nights at BLT for the easy transportation options and one night at MNSSHP. Here are some things I’m looking forward to:

Riding whatever I want and not feeling guilty
Trying different quick service options
Less $$$ as I’m usually paying for more than one person for everything

What are some things that you look forward to on a solo trip?
Upcoming trip will include Keys to the Kingdom tour which Ive always felt to guilty to do with others since its 5 hours.I will also be doing Hooo Dee Doo again! with no eye roll from friends at my glee.

Another solo trip for me coming up. I book events to get out there and do things and I have a blast as I meet new people and get some good laughs.

This trip I'll not be going into the parks, I've decided to hold onto my pass until AK has the new additions added as I doubt I'm ready to sell a kidney for my next pass. So, I'll be hanging out at the resort, swimming, enjoying exploring Disney Springs which I still have not memorized the map for, resort hopping and enjoying the skyliner/monorail/boats & of course those thrilling bus rides

Just did a solo trip. No dining reservations set up beforehand but no problem at all. Just put my name in standby and usually had a reservation shortly afterwards.
