What hotels are the closest?

We usually stay somewhere on the Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (US-192). We've found that some hotels there can be awfully close to Disney.

I'm not familiar with other areas around Disney World. Can someone tell me which off-site hotels are the absolute closest to Disney? Is 192 the closest you can get?

I already know about Downtown Disney hotels. I was wondering what other hotels there are and how close you can get.

Now that there is a new western entrance, is it worth checking out hotels farther west on 192?

The key is to get the hotels as close to the parks as possible, while still being offsite. Traffic is a consideration.

I like the Marriott Village. Also the Holiday Inn Sunspree is close (never stayed there). The Marriott World Center. Nick hotel.

close to DTD - really close to DTD hotels. first of all the DTD hotels which are really onsite - just not owned by Disney
