What "higher end" restaurant is worth it?

The ones I've been to in order of preference:

California Grill - our meal here lived up to the hype - and we didn't even have fireworks reservations.

Artists Point - I love the arts and crafts decor here - food is good as well

Flying Fish - Boardwalk is our "home" so we eat here a lot - last meal was not as good as previous or it would top my list. Decor is wonderful. Love the snapper.

Jiko - my food wasn't very good - perhaps I ordered wrong. Service was lousy (I don't think the waiter appreciated our well behaved children in the restaurant, brought the wrong food out twice, never came back for a second drink order, spent 20 minutes looking at finished dinner plates before he showed up to take a dessert order). The steak with mac-n-cheese is excellent, though - that was my husband's meal.

Narcoosee's - $40 for a steak that wasn't worth $40. I had a great meal here a decade ago, though.

We don't do the dining plan and much prefer the signature places - we think even out of pocket the food quality so far exceeds the one credit restaurants that we are willing to spend.

1. California Grill (best over "Disney experience"....food is awesome, atmosphere is pure magic)

2. Yachtsman Steakhouse (really, really good steak and outstanding service. Ask for Bill as your server.)

3. Narcoossee's (great Whole Maine Lobster and great steak, but stay away from the surf and turf! The lobster tail on the surf & turf is not fresh...and tastes "fishy")
