What have you rented from a baby equipment rental company? (10 mo old)

Hello,

We are travelling in late August with our two teens and baby, who will be 10 months old at the time. I was thinking about renting some baby equipment to make the trip more convenient.

I was thinking about . . . an exersaucer? (can't remember the weight limits on those . . . our dd should be around 20 pounds by then);

maybe a stroller (though we were planning to take our own)

Any recommendations on things to make travelling with a 10-month old a little easier? Any big equipment you wish you had had available?

Thanks much,

Disneyfriend

A couple of years ago we rented some items from A Baby's Best Friend. We had a great experience! We rented a crib, which was full size, and came with nice bedding. This was at the hotel (where they keep baggage and packages) when we arrived, and we left it there to be picked up when we left. The assembly instructions were very simple and did not require tools! We also rented a toy pack that they had. They have them sorted by age, and it was a great way to keep our son entertained with new toys, without having to haul a lot with us!

My baby is 13 months. My mother rented a crib and highchair from Taylor Rental in Ocala Fl. I don't know how much it was. I was skeptical at first because the highchair was one of those old fashion ones with the metal tray. I inspected it and the belt worked and the legs of the chair were evenly distributed. While it was much shorter than my home highchair, it worked fine and baby was happy. The crib was a porta crib white type thing and he slept ok in it.
Sorry don't know the price of them. :confused3
While everything worked fine, I wonder what Mom paid because it seemed to me that they were dated items (although extreemly clean and functional). So if you prefer something specific be sure to ask the company name brands and if online maybe a picture of the item. I was just happy we had something and appreciative that Mom was helping me out.
When we went to Disney we stayed off-site. Our condo at Windor Hills had a stroller, high chair and pack and play. They were all clean and practically brand new. There was no extra charge for the items either. :banana:
