I am planning our next WDW trip:cool1: :cool1:
Now I am trying to figure out are TS ressies. I tend to gravitate to restaurants that we have been to and have enjoyed so here is what we have done so far at WDW:

CRT - loved it for breakfast, will do again
Chef Mickey - done it for breakfast and dinner and honestly the only good thing is the Character interaction so I need to find a replacement for dd to enjoy Mickey and the gang;)
Ohana - done breakfast and dinner, will do breakfast again for the character interaction and we are probably staying at POLY so its nice and close
Kona Cafe - Done breakfast and dinner, just okay, nothing wow, probably wont do again
Akershus - done it a few times at breakfast, not sure if I'd do it again, dd loves it though
1900 Park Fare - done it for both breakfast and dinner, both very good, will probably do it again and its close to POLY
Grand Floridian Cafe - had breakfast and it was very forgettable, probably will not return
Narcoossee's - fabulous dinner, will probably return, I love lobster....LOL
WCC - did dinner and it was TERRIBLE, will never return
Fultons Crab House - fabulous dinner, is there a better place in DTD to eat? We will only go there one night so I don't want to miss another fab place
Crystal Palace - always done breakfast there b/c it has always been so good, its our favourite breakfast place, so we will go back there
Tony's Town Square - not our fave,, terrible service, just ok food, will not return
Coral Reef - always had dinner there and love it, we will be back
Marrakesh - yuck, yuck, yuck, definately will not return
Hollywood & Vine - another yuck, will not return

Okay I may have missed one but I'm sure it was a bad one.....LOL

So what have we been missing? Let me know all the god restaurants that we haven't done and will need to do on our next trip. Also we do a TS for breakfast and dinner everyday so I need 7 TS for breakfast and 7 TS for dinner.

Thanks!

Oh I know alot of you will tell me to do Le Cellar, yes its on my list. Every trip I try to get ressies and can never get a good dinner time. I will try this time around!:thumbsup2

Me again;)
Sorry I also don;t want to go too far for our meals, kwim! We will probably be staying at POLY b/c we always stay at POLY so please take that into account to!

Here are some of my favourites:

Les Chefs de France - This one I always feel kind of funny recommending. Unfortunately many people seem to have had bad experiences there. But from my experience, a great restaurant.

Le Cellier Goes without saying...

Boma - It says something that this alone keeps me from being able to confidently call Le Cellier my favourite restaurant at WDW. Delicious, interesting food.

But most of them you've already been to...:goodvibes

The only meal I didn't fully enjoy at WDW was at Akershus and I'm betting if I went there again I would like it. I say this because tastebuds change every couple years and it's been a few.

Here are some of my favorites:

Boma -LOVE LOVE LOVE their breakfast buffet. It's the best.
San Angel Inn - Everything here is delicious if you are a fan of Mexican
Mama Melrose - Is my 2nd favorite italian place on Disney property behind Alfredo's which is no more :(
Tangerine Cafe - If you like Gyros and souvlaki, they offer sandwiches similar to them, and they are delish!
50's Prime Time - Fun, yummy comfort food served by your fave relatives :)
Sci Fi Dine In - The atmosphere is so worth it. The food is pretty good. I always enjoy my meals here.
Plaza Restaurant - Quick eats and lots of sandwiches, you can't go wrong with sandwiches.
Nine Dragons - I really like their food. Very tasty!

I could go on and on. I'd be happy to comment on any particular places if you have questiongs :) Have a great trip!

Ok, will not say Le Cellier even thought we get ADR's for this first and work the rest of the weeks ASR's around it.
How about Rose and Crown get a 7:30-40 seating and see Illuminations around dessert time. Try to request patio seating so you are outside for Illuminations but if Inside they will take you out to a patio location. We are about 50-50 get the outside seating.
also Chefs de France, Teppen Edo and San Angle
I agree with Crystal \Palace for breakfast great made to order omlet and love the puffy french toast, we were there in Sept and I think now this may be a must do for every trip replacing Boma breakfast for no 1.

Thanks ArabianNights.....I had Les Chefs on my list the last time but had to change it to get a time on another one so I will probably put that back on my list, thanks.
Glad you also agree with Le Cellar;)
I have heard alot about Boma, but not sure if my picky eater (dd) would enjoy it. I think its definately worth another look at the menu.
Thanks for yoru suggestions:thumbsup2

Most of our favorites are already on your list.. but what about Mama Melrose. I know it gets mixed reviews around here but we ate there on our DHS day and all really enjoyed it.
I also agree with what a previous poster said LeCellier and Boma.

There are actually a fair amount of more familiar items, if I remember correctly. Someone I know who just returned from a trip with two young children commented that they ate nothing at Boma but Macaroni and Cheese...but they said it was the best they'd ever had :goodvibes

I've never had it for dinner, but breakfast is a MUST. Everything is delicious. Maybe try it for both?

People say good things about breakfast but I would push dinner. There are simply so many incredible things (soups especially) on the dinner buffet. Then again I'm somewhat biased...I don't like to eat a leisurely breakfast at WDW. You have to get to the parks when they open! :goodvibes

EDIT: Ironic how we immediately give contrary suggestions...

Besides the ones others already said -- LeCellier, Plaza and Mama Melrose, I would add Biergarten at Epcot and Yak & Yeti at Animal Kingdom.

I agree with you on WCC--horrible food (DH got sick) and terrible service and you couldn't pay us to go to H&V ever again.

My 1st choice for non-signature restaurants is Les Chefs de France. We prefer Chefs over Le Cellier. That said, I would suggest everyone try LC at least once, just not instead of Chefs. ;) Also, we ate at Sci-fi for the 1st time in Oct., & it was a unique experience that you may want to consider. Last, I'd choose Tusker House breakfast for a good character buffet.

For signature restaurants, my 1st choice would be Hollywood Brown Derby followed by Artist Point. We haven't eaten at Jiko, California Grill, Narcoossees, or Citricos though. I can't offer an opinion on those.

For breakfast, I would add Tusker House and Cape May Cafe. We enjoyed the buffet there as well as the character interaction. For dinners, try SciFi at DHS (stick with burgers and milkshakes) and TRex at DTD for a fun atmosphere.

Have a great trip!

Don't forget about Flying Fish on the Boardwalk. Excellent steaks in addition to their seafood.

Tusker House, I never thought of that for breakfast! Thanks!
