We are headed down in August and I was wondering what if anything has changed in regards to food allergies. We haven't been there in about 5 years for a week long visit (went to the park for the day in 2012 on the Disney cruise) I remember having to fill out a form in the past and emailing it. Do I still do that or do I just note it on my dining reservation when I make them online? Has there been any other improvements (or non improvements) that I should be aware of? Any changes in counter service for allergies? Do they post a menu now or anything to read ahead of time? I did notice when we were there for the day that Divies were gone and the gluten free product they had at the time had eggs.

My DD (6) is allergic to: eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame & grapes

MY DD (10) is allergic to: peanuts and tree nuts

Thanks : )

Your younger DD has enough allergies for the form. My son's allergies are wheat, soy, egg, dairy, peanut, treenut, sesame, shrimp and buckwheat... I tend to not remember whick specific one prevents him from certain items, but as a general rule there is rarely anything prepackaged he can have at quick service so our chances of a meal improve as the kitchen size goes up. If you email special diets a month or so before they will send you the form for any table service locations you have booked. They dont tend to contact you anymore, but it gives the chef a heads up. A couple weeks before you can get a list of in stock items managers of dining locations have recently ordered to help you guess where to find things. The catch is the list only lists specialty items- so if you can have the regular yogurt it wont be listed because it is a menu item, but enjoy life cookies are special so they make the list.
For the most part things are the same, I think they have toned down how over the top they go on average because of the volume of needs they cater to.
