What did you do to fill your days?
Take it slow?
Pool days?
I would love to know :)

10 days all 4 parks each for two days one water park and one day exploring other resorts.

10 days this past November. I relaxed each day in the afternoon to enjoy the resort. The day I arrived, I didn't rush off to a park like I would normally do.. but instead hung out at the resort before our dinner ADR at Disney Springs later that evening. I also took a day to go to Universal and Islands of Adventure, which was really fun. I relaxed more, and had one of the best trips I have ever had. I want to do a 10 day trip again next year. I felt like I had so much more time to do things, so going a little slower than normal was easy, and I felt like I was on vacation and not a marathon.

Our trips are about 9 days. We sleep in, swim, then head to parks around 2-3pm. Some days we do a water park from open until 1pm, back to resort to relax shower. Then park. We also do quick outlet shopping in between. NEVER a whole day park. And we dont do mid-day breaks. We go and stay.

14 days when we got married, we did all the parks, but we did it in a really relaxed way, going back to the room when we needed a break, and such (plus, of course one day meeting the wedding coordinator, and one day getting married!)

5 nights, 6 days we like to split our vacations between Disney and Universal, the whole trip was 11 nights, 12 days.

14 days. I had various friends at different times, so that helped. But, it was a long stay...I was pretty much done by day 10!

Yeah I heard with longer vacations people fit in IOA and US! Sounds like it was a fun trip!

Wow sounds like a packed trip! Where did you stay at Disney and Uni?

12 nights Disney, went to at least one park every day, same again this year (plus 3 nights on site at universal), coming from the uk we need to make the most of it, will rest when we are back home!!

Wow. Sounds pretty cool. Would you do it again or would you rather keep them short?

12 days. We can't afford to do airfare twice a year so we always just take one long trip each year. We always throw in a couple US/IOA days also.

Our longest stay has been 6 days and 5 nights. I like to go twice a year. Once in May and again in October.

Our trips have all been for nine nights (although our October, 2016 visit will only be for eight). Below is the outline of my very favorite:

Driving (leaving home on the day after Christmas) my daughter, my granddaughter (13), my grandson (11) and I arrived at our Cabin in Fort Wilderness (with our very-smart-if-I-do-say-so-myself length-of-stay personal golf cart ) on the 27th of December, 2003. That evening we went on a hayride, watched the Electrical Light Parade from the beach and attended Hoop De Doo.

December 28th: Epcot/World Showcase. PPO Breakfast at Akershus (Norway). Lunch at Marrakesh (Morocco). Candlelight Processional. Dinner at Alfredo's (Italy).

December 29th: Magic Kingdom. PPO Breakfast at The Crystal Palace. Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. Dinner at Tony's Town Square. Spectromagic and Wishes.

December 30th: MGM/Hollywood Studios. Breakfast On-The-Go. Lunch at Mama Melrose. Fantasmic!. Dinner at The Hollywood Brown Derby.

December 31st: Contemporary Resort. Breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Water Sports (Parasailing, Tubing, Water Skiing and Jet Skis) from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Lunch at Whispering Canyon (The Wilderness Lodge). Dinner/New Year's Eve Celebration at Citrico's/The Grand Floridian Resort.

January 1st, 2004: Downtown Disney/Disney Quest. Breakfast at Trail's End (Fort Wilderness). Lunch at Fulton's Crab House. Luau (The Polynesian Resort).

January 2nd: Animal Kingdom. PPO Breakfast at Breakfastosaurus. Lunch at The Rainforest Cafe. Dinner at Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge). Cirque du Soleil and Pleasure Island.

January 3rd: Fort Wilderness Play Day. Breakfast at Trail's End. Swimming. Trail Rides. Boats. Etc. Lunch at Trail's End. Dinner at Narcoossee's (The Grand Floridian Resort). Wishes Fireworks Specialty Cruise.

January 4th: Epcot/FutureWorld. Breakfast at Spoodles (The Boardwalk). Lunch at The Coral Reef. IllumiNations! Dinner at The Flying Fish (The Boardwalk).

And, yes. We ate all of that and still managed to toddle on every ride we had planned ... :)

I do apologize, though, for all of the detail. But it was just so much fun to see it all in print once again.

We stayed at Portofino at Universal then the Poly. Fab trip, I couldn't get bored! We will be doing 1 or 2 parks every day this August too, staying at Hard Rock then Beach Club, only 42 days to go :)

12 days on property with 8 and 9 days of tickets (I'll explain that in a few). This trip was followed with 9 more days on property and 8 park days just 45 days later. (first was halloween second was xmas, we wanted to see both but didn't plan on that when we did the 12 days, we just missed the place and came right back).

The longer trip was our first non-summer trip and was loving the difference in weather.. We started to develop our current style of touring the parks where we slept in, started doing hte parks in half days. leave parks we're not in the mood for and switching to parks we are. it was a lot of rain this trip so we also learned to get the must dos (fireworks for me) as soon as you can so you have time to fill it in if needed. This is also why we started to do half days where the early part of the day was about sunlight entertainment and then see something at night. rarely was it the same park as it fit my daughters anxiety better. My daughter did twist her ankle early in the trip so there was a good 3 days of downtime until she finally let me start using a wheelchair for her. We also did our first universal trip to see harry potter there. It was mnsshp so we did that I thikn twice but we might have even added a third night on, we loved it. This was a work thank you for busting your *** for 2 years without a day off and while sick so they paid a great majority of the trip and we just went crazy while it was someone elses dime... it was also my first food and wine.. We ended it with the then brand new vip ultimate day of thrills since my daughter was back on her feet and loved the last day being escourted 3 parks with good lunch enjoyment of the rides 1 last time..

The second trip was that disney bucket list to do xmas at disney.. We timed it for the parade taping (which we saw), when resort cms said the resort was lightest (just after thanksgiving weekend) and we concentrated on everything about the holiday with some things we skipped the last trip.. To be honest we were very burnt out on disney by the end of it.. we went from a 10 year absence to these 2 longer and intense trips.

But these sparked how we go after everything not normal with disney now. We hunt out the 1 night only events, meet ups, test events.. ultimately it's why we now live here.. after these trips we couldn't see traveling here and having less than 6 nights on property.. We also have trouble seeing going in the hot months as that's all we knew before these trips..

edited to add: the tickets were split because we didn't know if we were going to do 2 days at universal or head anywhere else, so I held back on tickets.. we also extended our trip and originally it was only a 8 night stay. we didn't go into the parks the same amount of time so as needed, I added more days and we didn't overspend on tickets.

10 nights in November 2015

6 Park days (2x MK - 2x AK - 1x EP - 1x HS)
1 Disney Springs (full day)
1 Typhoon lagoon
2 free + shopping days

I used to do 9 nights at a time once per year in the 90's. It gave me just about 2 full days in each park (more than that before AK) and i would always catch a movie at the AMC near pleasure island. I don't know why, but i really liked to see whatever was brand new when i go.
Like some others, i would sleep in as late as i wanted to and stay out late. Having access to pleasure island ensured some really late nights. Man i miss that place :(

Premium outlets on lake buena vista..about 10 minutes with good traffic from Disney Springs

Our upcoming August trip will be 16 days (15 nights) :-) We have 10 day park hopper tickets for our triple resort stay.
Contemporary (4 nights) - 2 days at MK (able to walk in/out of MK to resort for pool breaks), including a night out for Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise and an Early Morning Magic ticketed event at MK. Other 2 days exploring Contemporary and monorail resorts (we have never stayed at a monorail resort before, so very excited).
Beach Club (4 nights)- 2 days (half days) at DHS (probably take boat to DHS). We will likely spend a couple of hours at night hopping to Epcot for World Showcase. We will likely spend 1 morning at Epcot as well. Lots of our time will be at Stormalong Bay. The BC location allows us to spend 4-5 hours in a park then swim and relax, then go back in to parks in the evening (especially enjoying the evening at Epcot, although DD's LOVE DHS). Also might be doing a dessert fireworks party put on by our travel agency:-)
PO Riverside (7 nights)- 1 day AK, 2 days MK, 1 day park hopping from Epcot to DHS. Other 4 days enjoying pool and taking boat to Disney Springs (we usually stay at French Quarter, so are familiar with boat ride to Disney Springs, but could not get a bounceback offer for FQ, so took bounceback offer for Riverside). We really enjoy spending time at Disney Springs and eating at Wolfgang Puck Express so we will do this on our resort days.
We only do Disney once a year (flights are getting expensive), so we save all year to have a long stay (long stay = more relaxing to us).
