What has been the most magical parade you have watched?

Mine personally is the Disney Dreams Come True Parade. The soundtrack, the floats and the memories really puts this one above all others!

DL's "Paint the Night". Honestly, everything else has just been a warmup for this one. Impossible to describe just how much better this parade is than anything else I have seen. The way Main Street is incorporated into the parade itself takes this parade to "11".

Festival of Fantasy is really amazing. I also love the MSEP, but the Tokyo version is actually better (same soundtrack, better floats..."millions of sparkling lights" not just thousands).

I have not seen Paint the Night...but I want to SO bad!

SpectroMagic-hands down! The music alone is amazing! It was heartbreaking to learn of it's unfortunate demise. Followed closely by Once Upon A Christmastime parade.

Main Street Electrical Parade because of Pete's Dragon and I too want to see Paint the Night so Bad!

The original Main Street Electrical Parade, at DL in the 1970's. At that time, I had neither seen nor heard anything like it, and it made me giddy like a child.

Fantasmic! at DL had the same effect on me. I mean, who ever heard of setting a river on fire?!

It will always be the MSEP. We always finished our nights at MK with it from the time I was kid. My kids had their first trip last fall and were fascinated by it.

In terms of "wow" factor, Paint the Night blows everything else away. Sorry WDW, I love MSEP, but it just looks old and sad compared to PTN.

In terms of emotional resonance, the first parade I ever saw with my daughter was in early 2008 at Disneyland, and I think it was called the "Parade of Dreams" (but I might be wrong on that). The music was a version of the song 'Welcome' from the Brother Bear soundtrack and, confession time, whenever that song comes up on my daughter's Disney playlist, odds are that my allergies will immediately kick in and cause my eyes to water uncontrollably as I think back to the look of utter joy on her face.
