What happens when...

I ordered this Camera earlier this morning online with a 4g memory card. It now says it's sold out online.

Someone posted that they already got their shipping confirmation from Walmart.com for their purchase and mine still says processing.

What are the chances that Walmart 'oversold' and I won't get my camera? What happens if they oversold and I don't get my camera? Can I call someone to get the camera later for the same price?

This camera is my only gift for xmas other then my flights to Disney so I'll be really bummed if it doesn't come through.

Anyone know what happens?

I can only tell you this..... I ordered the Little People Castle Bundle for Allie. A few days later I saw the coach had shipped, but not the castle, then I got an email stating that the castle wasn't in stock, but they would keep trying to get it for ten days. A couple days later that castle is now showing as shipped.




I think they know how many they're going to be able to get, and don't sell more than that, but I think they know what they are expecting from their manufactor

Its showing as in-stock for me right now when I click on your link.

I avoid the Kodak ones because I hate their software LOL - I went with the Nikon Coolpix S550 which is $50 less online than in our store (which takes me back to my ranting thread about not price matching their own website). However, that said, two of my girlfriends have Kodaks and they LOVE them so they are evidently an awesome camera. Cross your fingers, maybe order a 2nd one that is a decent price? (The S220 or whatever that next Nikon model is runs $129 and is 10 MP). Have that shipped also and then return it to the store if the other one does come in? All the MANY orders I placed with WM the past two days indicated items could be returned at the store hassle free or something to that effect.
