What happens to our FP+ if there is a ride closure?

What if a thunderstorm hits during a FP+ window and forces a ride closure?
Do they
1) give you a "return anytime today" FP
or
2) do you have to scramble and try to find availability yourself on the kiosks after your FP window expires?
Or
3) do you just lose that FP altogether?

AND
4) What if a ride breaks down during your FP+ window? Does that closure follow same protocol as a weather-related closure?

Not sure if its changed but when we were there in November this happened to us once. Space Mt closed and it was during our FP window. We were told that the fp was good at any other FP attraction OR it would still be good passed its time window when the ride reopened. Again, maybe someone there recently can shed some light but this was how it was in Nov 2013.

Do they

Yes. You have the option to return to that ride for the rest of the day, or to use the FP on a list of rides that they email to you. From my experiences, the choice of alternate FP seems to exclued characters and 7DMT (unless your original FP was for 7DMT).

No.
Or

Nope.

4) What if a ride breaks down during your FP+ window? Does that closure follow same protocol as a weather-related closure?
Yes. 7DMT was down for technical issues during my FP time on Saturday and we received the same email as we did when the rides were down for weather.
