This is about Halloween at Disneyland. I have already gone to the DCA Halloween party & was a bit disappointed as many of my favorite rides were down (Sreamin, sun wheel and Soarin broke down while we were on it) My kids don't have anyone to trick and treat with this year and I thought DL might be fun for the evening. Can anyone remember what goes on and if the crowds are worth the trip? They do want candy but I might be able to talk them into forgoing the neighborhood trek if there will be some trick and treating and fun activities at DL.

Sadly there really is not that much different then any other day sometimes CMs night have candy but not always.. the crowds are not too bad

I believe all the trick or treating fun is confined to MHT at DCA. But you could always enjoy Disneyland anyway, you just wouldn't come home with bags of candy (unless you bought your own). Woody's Round up area at Big Thunder Ranch does have some craft activities and I believe cookie decorating. Would that fit the bill for your kids?

We have done the thunder ranch activities. Last years cake was much better than this years cookie. Too bad the park closes at 8pm, I don't know if it would be worth it since I couldn't leave our house until after 1pm anyway due to work. The kids seem ok with going to a local church. We usually go with friends but they are not going to be home this year and the one year we went trick or treating in our neighborhood hardly anyone was home.
