Tried to search the forum, but I still struggle to get results. My question is:

Is there a program/guide for happenings in the Disneyland Village?

We are arriving on a friday, and was planning to spend our first day at Disneyland Village and have dinner at Cafe Mickey. But are there any parades or similar in the Disney Village? If so, what time is it usually?

No, there are no parades in the Disney Village.
You don't need any kind of entrance tickets to get into the Disney Village, its a restaurant and shopping area.

Hi,

Theres no parades or shows as such but there is entertainment in the village,
Here is some info on the conterts that are on at Billy Bobs
and here is were i normally find out what else is on. I think when you arrive you'll get given details of what is on too- they hold different themes of enterainment throughout the year.

You wouldn't be able to spend a whole day there tbh. Far too boring for that. Although teenagers might be able to spend the entire day in the arcade :cool1: (if it's still there) If you wanted a day shopping then the Shopping Centre (whose name I've forgotten) is only 1 stop away on the train and you could possibly spend the day there.

I did not plan to stay there for a whole day. But we arrive at the Explorers at 14:00, so my plan was to go to Disney Village around five, have dinner at Cafe Mickeys around 18:00, and then go back to the hotel.

We also got small kids with us, so it is almost impossible to stay anywhere for a whole day :-)

You might have trouble dragging your kids away from the Explorers!

Sounds like a plan though :thumbsup2 ,

Sorry I thought you meant you were going to be there for the whole day!

Disney Village is about 5 mins walk away from the actual Park (maybe less if you walk quickly although as you have children that's not very likely) and as far as I know AP's can only be bought at the turnstiles at the Disneyland Park.

You can't buy the annual passes at the Village.

But the Village is only 5 minutes walk from the gates of the Disneyland Park.

If you're intending buying your annual passes at the ticket office, but not entering the park until the next day, you will need to ask if you can wait until the next day to exchange the temporary passes you'll get at the ticket office, for your permanent photo ID ones at the Annual Pass office inside the Disneyland Park.

Usually, you need to visit the Annual Pass office the same day you purchase your temporary passes, to exchange them for your permanent ones.

I have just been informed that I can buy Annnual Passes from 8:00 in the morning, so then it will not be a problem to wait to the day after to get Annual Passes. I hate queues (not ideal to go to DLRP :-) ) so I want to take advantage of the extra hours as soon as possible.
