We are close to buying at SSR ,but have one question I have not seen on here. Not to think Negitive but just tring to get as much info as possible before making a commitment. Is there ever any extra yearly expenses on top of the annual fees that can arrise due to a improvement at your home resort or damage do to weather disaster ect. .. ?? We're planning a trip for Nov 2007 and thinking about commiting before the price hike.. Thanks!!

To date, there have never been any additional fees (besides the annual maintenance fees) at any DVC resort. That is a possibility however and could happen in the future.

Even with the extensive hurricane damage at VB, there was no additional assessment.

It could happen, but never has so far.
