What happens if we miss our Lightning Lane with the new system?

Disney site mentions you can book a 4th LL once you use one of the others-we are arriving around 10a for an upcoming trip-if we book a 10a LL-what happens if our flight is delayed? Do those LLs count as used at 11am, and we can book our 4th, or do we lose the ability to have a 3rd at any given time? I am not sure if this has already been announced, or if i just need to sit back and wait until july 24th...thankfully trip is mid august so i have a bit of time before deciding.

I don’t think Disney has announced anything at this time so any info is speculation. You’ll be able to get more info from reports after the 24rh 😁

If you are running late just modify 11 AM to a later time in day. Disney has posted some verbiage about how LLMP will work but the end result is still somewhat vague other than you will always have to ability to have 3 rolling passes at a time.

On the day of your park visit, once you redeem a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection (or once the arrival window has passed), you can use the My Disney Experience app to check availability for another Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience—and add to your plans.

If you don't use your 11 AM or reschedule and it expires then you can book another pass but what we don't know yet is your ride you selected lost or can you make another reservation for the ride you missed.

I’m hoping it’s like the old fast pass system where you could get more passes for the same ride once the first is used, but I’m not holding my breath for that. It’ll probably be like the current genie+ system where you can only use one LL pass per ride.

It says, “While you are only able to use a Lightning Lane entrance once per day per attraction, you are still able to utilize the standby line to experience the same attraction more than once in the same day.” But this was from plan Disney )take with grain of salt). I couldn’t find the link where I thought the Disney website had the details

Sorry but no it is not like the old FP system. Using the new LLMP system you are limited to one pass per attraction per day.

Limit one Lightning Lane entry per attraction, per day.

This is my concern as well. With the old FP system, I remember making early Tier 2 FPs that I let expire and then added a new one as each one passed. (a way to get another Tier 1) But I’m wondering if I do that with the new system, will it block me from an expired attraction? The way I’ve read what they have released so far, I think I will be and will then have to do it stand by. Sacrificing The Land for Soarin? :) (assuming Frozen is my first Tier 1 choice for the late afternoon)

We don't currently know the answer for your use case. This is all Disney has posted about the arrival window.

On the day of your park visit, once you redeem a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection (or once the arrival window has passed), you can use the My Disney Experience app to check availability for another Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience—and add to your plans.

All the Disney Blog sites only say the "2 hour" rule is gone but not what the new "arrival window" rules / time limit are for a LLMP selection.

I’m just glad my trip isn’t until November Hopefully, all will be clearer as my trip gets nearer. (Sorry, unintentional rhyme there)
I feel bad for people with trips near the end of July.
