What happens if I miss my ADR?

So, I'm having a hard time finding the answer to my question. I have several ADR's set up for our October trip, and am wondering what happens if we aren't able to make a reservation.

We (my wife and I) are taking our almost 2 year old to WDW this October and have dinner reservations for 4 of the nights of our trip. Obviously we want to make all of our ADR's, but what happens if we don't show up for one? With a 2 year old, you never know what may happen. When I made the ADR's, they ask for a phone number that I can be reached at on vacation, do they actually call if you don't show up? Any information would be helpful! Thanks!

If you're staying on property, just tell the concierge at the resort. Unless it's Akerhaus or Cinderella's Royal Table, you shouldn't have a problem.

Or Fantasmic Dinner Package, they took my CC# for that one and told me it would be charged it we did not show/cancel 24 hours before (i believe it was 24hours before) that was the policy in 08 when we did that. After we ate at mama melrose, we said NEVER again!

They use your cell phone number to triangulate your position and send the pirates out after you. Just keep an eye out and some pixie dust handy for your escape.

If you call ahead of time, often they can accomodate if you just need a little extra time. I can't say that I have ever been called even when I accidently miss an ADR. Of course, as has already been mentioned, don't miss the ones that require a credit card.

Don't miss the ones that require a credit card and try to call to cancel if you're going to miss others as a courtesy to others such as walk-ups who might have been unable to get an ADR.

Akershus, Cindy's table, HDDR, SOA if you miss these they charge your card for the meal. Some of the signature ressies will charged a $20 no show-no cancel fee. This is what the itenerary planners sent to me when they made my ressies. California Grill check-in is located at the podium on the 2nd floor of the resort. The podium is located just outside the elevators, near the top of the escalator coming up from the lobby. $20 per person cancellation fee will apply for cancellations within 24 hours or for any no shows.
