What happens if I cancel my dining plan?

I have a reservation for Cindarella's table (breakfast) that I made under my resort reservation. Well two things have changed since then. I made the dining ressie taking advantage of the 180+10 (made it 190 days in advance) but since then our plans have changed and we won't be able to stay as long. We are taking some days off the beginning part of our trip, such that if we hadn't had those reservations in the first place we wouldn't have been able to make the original dining ressies. My question is: I will be at my resort on the dates that I made my dining reservations for...they won't get cancelled when I change my resort dates right? They'd be hard to rebook now.

And, when I originally made my Cindarella's table ressies I had reserved the dining plan. Now we are thinking we won't do the dining plan. Because we had the dining plan when we booked we didn't have to pay ahead. Will the ressie stand if I cancel the dining plan? Will I have to now pay ahead? I'm confused and want to make sure I don't lose my reservations!! Thanks.

Reservations are independent from the DP. They don't necessarily know if you have the DP when you have an ADR. I have ADR's that I made and currently don't have the DP, if it comes out with FD, then I'd do that, but I'm sure you ADR is there until you cancel or use it!

They will ask you to pay at the restaurant, and you will pay the regular way (cash, credit card, etc) rather than with dining credits. Let your server know that you will not be paying with dining credits.

Moving or canceling your resort reservation does not affect your ADRs. Any reservations that you are not going to attend because of the change in your resort reservation, you need to cancel separately.
