is cancelled due to bad weather? Do they send you to a different place to eat :confused3 Do you still loose your credits ?

We just came back on the26th. On our last evening there, Sat. we were at the show and mid-show it started downpouring. By this point we had already eaten dinner and they were serving dessert. It was lightning and thundering and they came and made an announcement that we would all be credited one dining credit each because the show was cancelled due to weather. :sad2: :sad1:

That didn't really do us any good because it was our last night there and didn't have a chance to see it again or even eat somewhere else. I was just upset t hat I couldn't see the rest of the show.

We continued our meal because where you are seated it is covered so only the people at the ends were getting wet, but everyone just moved further down.

They gave everyone garbage bags to wear as we ran to the entrance to get to the monorail. What a sight we looked like running in rain that was up to our ankles and wearing garbage bags as ponchos. lol

this happened to you guys. We will be there our last night at the 8:00 show.We have been to the one in San Antonio and Florida at Sea World and loved both of them. Just hope that the weather will allow us to enjoy this one to ... I wish it was all covered. Thanks for sharing!

1) Shows are canceled due to cold, wind or rain.
2) They "usually" are canceled only 1-2 hrs before the show time.
3) Unless the weather is not expected to change.

4) Meal
. . . if canceled at last minute, they may offer the buffet only, for a reduced cost
. . . if canceled earlier, there is little food prepared, so no food options
. . . regardless of timing, they do not provide another eating venue or ADR
5) Tickets
. . . ticket costs are automatically refunded
. . . they can refund credits to DDP or money to credit card, depending how you paid

A colleague at work was there last week not on the DDP and they paid half price I believe.

I wouldn't plan a dinner show that could be effected by weather on your last night again, so if it does get canceled you can actually use your credit that gets refunded instead of losing it. :confused3

You will get your money/dining credits back, but be on your own for a place to eat!
This happened to us one year in December, because it was too cold.

I paid for this meal with credit card due to the fact that the DDP only offers cat 2 & 3 seating. We wanted to be up close:banana: . I did'nt even think about it being our last night there:confused3 . I will in the future make sure to not do this again.:thumbsup2 I guess if it gets cancelled then we will do a CS meal. We will leave the next day around 4:00 and I am sure that I will use the $$ for somewhere else. or on something else:lmao:

I will be there this sunday - saturday :woohoo:
I am still pinching myself :rotfl2:
