Exactly what happens at the farm? Is it worth it or should we just do the island tour?

We rented a car with a family that we met at the car rental office and went to a number of sites on the island including the Butterfly Farm. It was less expensive to get into the Butterfly Farm $8.00 adults and $6.00 for children. It was very educational and the kids going through the tour really seamed to enjoy it. There are hundreds of butterflies everywhere and they talk about the development and life of the butterfly. Wonderful photo opportunity!!! I got the most amazing pictures. My DD was able to write about her experience in her journal for school. I had to pry her out of the gift shop! It wasn't much to talk about but it was appealing to a 5yr old.

We did the Butterfly Farm in March. It included a bus tour of the island, and a shopping stop at an open-air market on the way back to the ship.

The Butterfly Farm visit itself was very enjoyable. The woman making the presentation did a good job, geared her talk to the kids in the group and was available for questions after. My kids and I loved it.
