What happened to Tour Guide Mike?!

Okay, so Tour Guide Mike helped me plan all four of our incredible trips to WDW. I found his guidance to be extremely helpful, and I learned a lot from him. I will greatly miss his predictions of what days are the least crowded in each park. We never would have survived Christmas in WDW without his help.

So, a couple of weeks ago, I tried to log into his website. My membership was still good and all paid up. I was planning on renewing when it expired, except it is GONE.:faint:

First of all, I would love to know what happened.

Second of all, I would love to know an equally helpful alternative. Is Touring Plans any good?

With all of the changes since our last trip in 2011, I could really use Mike's guidance right now. I really need some help.:confused3

Any suggestions?

From what I've read he and/or his family had medical issues and was not keeping the site up.
I LOVED his site in 2007 and hoped to use it again. :sad2:

I've got touringplans and don't think it's anything special. A lot of people are using easywdw.com.
On the week we are going I see quite a difference in the recomendations. Guess I'll have to wing it on my own.

Easywdw.com. The crowd calendars are spot on. I've used them in fall 2012 & 2013. Both times all his recommended parks were 100% accurate.

Thanks for the info.

I guess I'll give EasyWDW a shot, and hopefully with all of the tricks I learned using Tour Guide Mike, we will be okay.

easywdw. In addition to his crowd calendars (Josh does not generally recommend EMH parks) he also provides touring plans for one or two day visits to particular parks. That may require digging back through a few pages.

Another option is to buy "The easy Guide to Your First Walt Disney World Visit 2014" It is by Josh Humphrey http://www.easywdw.com/ and Dave Shute http://**************.net/

I follow Josh' site regularly. There days when he walks though the touring plans he proposes and shows you the results. The Kindle version of the book will be updated periodically as things at WDW change.
