What happened to the smells?

ITTBAB: Stink bug didn't smell.

Chew-chew: Apple, watermelon, cupcake no smell. Only the animal crackers had the smell working.

Just a bad day, or has Disney cut back on the smells me reason?

hum, noticed the same thing.. i just figured it was my sniffer not WORKING..

Sometimes the smell chemicals run out and they don't replace them. The smells were working two months ago, but when we went in November in 2015, they weren't working. It's just one of the details that Disney should be catching but sometimes don't.

It feels random to me when smells work or don't -- I always figured it was something like GatorChris suggests, that sometimes the smell chemicals don't get replaced right away, or the mechanism is jammed temporarily, or some other mechanism just isn't working at the time. (FWIW, I saw ITTBAB on just last week, and the stink bug smell did work then.)
