What happened to the Orange County Chopper father & sons?

I'm not too surprised about any of this, even though it has been years since I've seen this show. I thought it was ok in the beginning - it seemed then it was more about the craft of designing and building a custom bike. However it quickly devolved into a p*ssing contest between the main characters and that's when I lost interest. Life is too short to allow that kind of negativity in - Much more fun watching the MythBuster's crew enjoying their latest explosion :thumbsup2.

Sadly, these kinds of power struggles go on in successful family businesses daily. After witnessing Sr.'s "management style" with his kids, the glare of the camera just intensified what would have eventually happened anyway.

I read somewhere that they show is ending, the Paul jr is no longer in the show, they had some money dispute! Really! Another one for TLC, those people destroyed themselves.

Did I read the recap right? The first line says that the sons started the business. Did they? I don't watch the show so please forgive me. I have seen clips here and there so I know everyone being discussed.

So if that line in the recap is correct....how on earth does the dad get to decide who goes and who stays and why is he allowed to try and take JR's stock?

And I agree SR is a nasty piece of work.

the sons opened it up with Dad. Dad fronted the money but is really not that great in the "building the motorcycle" part. He has a great team in there. his son that is not on the show runs the other business that was family started. it's how Sr got the money to start the bike shop.
