What happened to the current room only offer?

I am freaking out! We were going to go in Sept. I was not able to book yet for this trip and was planning on using the room discounts that were out. Disney's site said you could book those discounts through October for end of summer stays and now I don't see those anywhere? Am I out of luck now? I could cry.

No not yet that is going to be my next step. I am really afraid I missed the boat on this one. I almost had them put it on hold for me but I was not sure if I would have the money. Ironically I am waiting for them to refund me money from another reservation to make this one. They said I should have it by now but I don't. They could not move the money from one reservation to the next since it was different dates.

Your referring to the Summertime Savings up to 40% off book through October 2, 2010? It states that the offer is now expired.

Yes that is the one. Last night and for the past several weeks it said Book through Oct. 2nd.

I'm in the same boat. I know it said book through October, but I tried to do it online and it said expired. I haven't tried calling yet, and probably won't until tomorrow. Let me know what they say if you do!

You could always check Orbitz, etc. I still see resorts showing 40% off in Sept on their website.

Thanks! I'll do that while I'm on hold. I have never booked through anyone but Disney is there any downside to booking with Orbitz?

I just asked at that "chat" with a reservation agent online and she said:

Cambria: The Summertime Room Discount Offer is still available but you must book it through the Disney Reservation Center at 407-560-CHAT (2428).

Ok so I just called, the discount is gone. Aparantly that one expired on the 14th also. I could have sworn I read it differently. Anyway I still have a PIN attached to my name that I threw away so I can still get the same discount.

ETA I just saw the above, maybe my guy was looking in the wrong spots. So I hope others can still book using the Summer discounts ; )
