What happened to the candy lady?

I was just at Disney in December, and one of my favorite things was the candy lady in Japan in Epcot. She wasn't there around Christmas. Any one knows what happen to her?

She's still out. It's possible she just wasn't there that day (she is only out certain days of the week).

We saw her on December 17th. She made DD a turtle, which got smashed to pieces about an hour later. (I dropped it about 6 inches, and it shattered...they are apparently very fragile.) However, it gave us a chance to taste the candy - yuk!

My guess is she is just out on holiday. It would be very disappointing if she was no longer there.

She is one person and she does get days off and I assume a vacation every once and awhile.

We just saw her on this past Saturday or Sunday. (I think it was Sunday, Jan. 17.) So she's definitely still there. Maybe you were there on one of her off days or she was out for vacation.

We were there on Dec. 21st and we saw her.

I wonder if she goes to DisneyWorld for vacation like the rest of us?

Thanks everybody! I went Dec. 18 because Whoopi was at Candlight. We did the kim possible thing in japan and did not see her cart at all.

Yup- it was Sunday, my bf and I enjoyed watching her then as well.
