What happened to " Looking For Cheap/Free Ideas for Friend" thread?

Okie dokie. I understand. It would have been nice for there to have been some explanation in its place however. I guess this will do though, eh?

I didn't get the idea anyone was "soliciting" - they were just being kind and generous people wanting to give to those less fortunate. The only thing solicited was ideas.

That was a very nice thing everyone was doing for those people. No one was soliciting, buying or selling anything. The original poster only asked for ideals to help them out. It just snowballed from there and only from the ones who actually wanted to or could help them. I did not donate but would love to hear how everything turned out and if they got all the donations they needed to help this family have a magical experience. If anyone can please pm me the final info.

Quite disappointing. I can see how some of the postings may have stated donations that were still needed, but only after like 6 or 7 pages of people wanting to help. People wanted to know what was left that they could do, and she simply answered that request. I can see removing THOSE posts but the entire thread??????

What a bummer.
