What happened to DU?

Booking first time cruise. Contacted DREAMS UNLIMITED Asked for a quote for room only Pre cruise, a 3 night cruise, room only post cruise for 5 nt. Transfers for 3 from pop to port to pop.
First quote it only has the cruise and its a 4 day at the start day of our vacation. We wouldn't even have arrived yet. No room before and after.
Send a letter off. Next there's no transfers on it.

Is it a better idea to book directly thru Disney?

Book directly with Disney. Same thing happened with me, only with MouseFanTravel. I asked for a quote for land and sea, told them it was me, hubby and two kids. It took close to two weeks to get a response. It was a very impersonal automated like response that didn't even give me what I was looking for. Just gave me a basic cruise quote for my husband and I. I just booked it myself.

Next there's no transfers on it.

When booking through the Disney Travel Agent site there is this note on Resort to Cruise and Cruise to Resort ground transfer:

*Ground transfers to and from select Resort hotels are available for select cruises. If available, you will be given the option to add these ground transfers.

It may be that the TA wasn't able to do all of it online and just didn't want to bother with spending a lot of time on the phone for a quote that wouldn't generate a significant commission for them.

If you are not happy with the service you received from the travel agent you should let the Travel Agency know what you thought of the service so that they can take appropriate action.
