What Happened on Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin?

While in Disneyland, Roger Rabbit was closed and we were told that there had been an accident. Does anyone know any details on this? Just curious why it was down. I heard that it has been closed for a while. Thanks for any info.

A young boy fell from the vehicle and was trapped under the car he fell from. I'm not sure if they found out if it was mechanical or the fault of the mother not watching the kid.

They are modifying the ride to help prevent this from happening again. I haven't heard when it is scheduled to re-open yet.
