What happened on ER last night?

I think the biggest thing is that Gallant was killed in Iraq by a roadside bomb. I guess they did it so Neela can get with the rocker Doc (can't remember his name).

I don't know about the rest of you but I am really getting tired of ER killing off people or people just disappering. But I agree with the other poster I think they killed him off so Neela can get with Ray.

Gallant went boom, Victor went nuts....

Okay--regarding previews for next week--if something happens to Abby or her baby--I'm not watching anymore. I mean it. :furious:

oh my it was so sad...I cried...I ached for Neela...cried cried...my Fiance says I can't watch ER anymore...or Grey's Anatomy for that matter...oh when she watched the video Gallant sent her...oh when the guys in the uniforms came in to find her...oh when that tear just fell out of her eye, like the way real tears do when you are suddenly so filled with grief there isn't even any welling...it's just BOOM huge fat tear falling off your face...I DIED. I do think it was a rather obvious and blunt pathway making for Neela and Rockerdoc.

sad sad sad... :sad2:

I just found the community board...yee haw! ;)

sorry you missed it...looks like it should be a big one next week...I thought this was their last year...seems not though...setting up too many story lines for next season!! WooHOOO...I've been an ER girl since day ONE..since the days of George Clooney and Mean Doc Green and incompetent but sweet Carter and Julianna and her gorgeous dark curly hair and how she almost married Tag and but didn't cuz she loved George!!! Awwww the old days! :teeth:

I think ER has finally run it's course. Time to say bye. I can't see any story lines continuing next season that would be a "must see" for me.

I completely agree that will definitely be the last straw. As it is Luka and Abby are miserable most of the time; if their one piece of happiness is taken away I am also done.

Can someone fill me in on the Clemente's backstory. I missed several episodes and missed why he came aboard and what his problems are.

For some reason my tivo didn't record it, I only got to catch the very end. What happened to what's him name Dr? I saw him in a wheel chair.

I too think ER has run it's course. I heard that they are pulling it from Thurs. nights next season.

That's why I switched to House. At least he doesn't keep going to Africa :confused3

I agree. They spent too much time in Africa this season. I like it better when they stay in the ER.

Now that Carter is gone, I don't really care for anyone that is left. I don't find any of them sympathetic characters at all. And they sure haven't given Kerry much of a storyline this year at all.

Hate the scenes in Africa, i mean the show is called ER!! i HATE that they killed off Gallant, i loved him with Neela! i really lost it during hte video he sent her, it was sooo sad....

I too would rather watch House! now there is a good show!

I lost interest once Dr. Green died. I tried to watch, but it wasn't the same for me anymore.

It was a short trip!!!

I've never cared much for John Leguizamo until he came on board to ER....now I really like him as an actor.

Dr. Clemente seems to be suffering from a bit of PTSD...I'd absolutely howled when he went wee on the cab!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

I have to agree with the "switch to House" thing...I LOVE House...you'd never know that Hugh Laurie has a VERY British accent...did anybody watch it on Tuesday? He was making racist comments to try and get...oh what's his name...to react...it's pretty funny what is getting past the censors these days! I remember when Dr. Greene was dying in Hawaii and he said sh*t on TV!!! I was SHOCKED!! ;)

ER hasn't been the same 'must see' since the original cast left - especially since Carter left last year. When you watch the ER repeats on TNT, you can really feel the difference in intensity and the passion of the writers, I think. It just seems tired, though I do like Abby and Neela.
