What happend to Tinkerbell?

We were just at WDW for two weeks and watched Wishes on several occasions. However, Tink never flew from the castle towards Tomorrowland to begin the show. I love that! Don't get me wrong the fireworks show was amazing, but I wish they would have left Tink!

Any ideas as to when she left and if she will be returning?

I could be way wrong, but I thought if it was a little windy, she does not fly.

Yup, Tink abstains from flying in winds. The rigging is too sensitive. If it is windy, it is too dangerous.

I can confirm that she is still in the show. We saw her April 9th and 16th. Must have been too much wind when you were there.

We were there this weekend and some CM's were hanging out with us, after Wishes was over and we were watching the Kiss Goodnight they called her (she's a friend of theirs) and she waved to us from the castle, it was cool! She confirmed that it was too windy...

Apparently she's pretty sporadic. Last June we saw her one time during the three times we saw Wishes. All three times we saw it, the weather was absolutely perfect, yet she only came out once. My parents saw it in September...again, perfect weather...and no Tink.

I heard a rumor that she was locked up - ya know the whole temper bit with Tink. First Wendy and then poor Jane, two attempted murder charges keeps ya locked up for a long time even in Never never land!

We so lucked out getting to see her two years ago. I didn't even know she flew - we were standing on the bridge to Tomorrowland and she flew right over us! It was so great!!!

Tink is a brave lady. I wouldn't want to fly down that rigging. Glad to see she's getting off that pixie dust. Does she have any left?

I didn't see her during Wishes either and thought maybe she wasn't part of the show anymore, but a lot of others had seen her. It was pretty windy that night when I think about it.

The reason I think she doesnt fly sometimes, is that she is not allowed to fly if there is lightening in within a certain distance..

obviously that may not be apparent to us at the time if the weather is good at wdw, but they need to make sure she is safe..
