I have 2.. the first is there used to be a shop on the right at the end of all the buildings on main street that you could get an icecream sandwich made. You could pick whatever type of homemade cookies ( I always mixed up chocolate chunk for one and double chocolate for the other one) with a great block of ice cream in the middle.

My second is there used to be a Kikomen chicken sandwich place by the TIKI room that was awesome.

The italian restaraunt on the right side entrance to tomorrowland, that has now become an oriental noodle house. They had the best soup and pizza for counter service in the MK

I miss the Crystal Palace the way it used to be ... before they turned it into a buffet restaurant with characters.

:cool1:
1-The Brown Derby(MGM): Crusted lamb ribs & pan squash...YUM!

2-The Coral Reef Cafe(EPCOT): African Lobster tails the size of my forearm!

3-The Crystal Palace(MK):Best prime rib I ever had...bar none!

We're contemplating eating @ The Liberty Tree Tavern soon...
has anyone gone recently?

I miss the Empress room , The Odessey at Epcot, and the coziness of Papeete Bay Veranda

Minnie Mia's at Downtown Disney. It was a simple little counter service place, but had good chicken parm!

I really miss the Fireworks Factory at Pleasure Island. Their ribs were
wonderful, and the sides were all my favorites.

The handwiches they used to serve at Sleepy Hollow.

Teriyaki chicken sandwiches that I think used to be served at Adventureland Veranda, or somewhere around there.

The bread bowl they used to serve the vegetarian chilli in at Columbia Harbour House. Now it just comes in a plastic bowl and I don't even order it anymore because the bread bowl is what made it so good!

I miss the Fireworks Factory too! I also miss Bonfamille which was a TS restaurant at POFQ. We used to eat at both places each trip when they were open.

Well, at this particular moment I am missing Chef Mickey's terribly. I know it isn't gone but I am and I sure do miss it. Been having cravings for those parmesan mashed potatoes lately!

Here's a short list:
Papettee bay Verandah
Empress Room
Fishermans deck
Steerman's Quarters
Sum Chows
Fireworks Factory
Harry's Safari
Ariel's
Top of the World (when they had live "name" entertainment)
Tangarorra Terrace
Tony's for breakfast
Seasons

Seasons' - veggie lasagna -with fresh veggies from the greenhouse! What a deal!

Flying Fish - chcolate lava cake!

Ariel's for sure. Best seafood on property.

Fireworks Factory!
Fireworks Factory!!
Fireworks Factory!!!

Definately the Fireworks Factory. The food was so good, we always looked forward to eating there. I have emailed disney so many times about bringing it back as a sit down in EPCOT world showcase...they just email back and say.."something is in the works we can't release details"..lol. Jeesh...can't be that hard..bring it back!

Oh yes...Seasons was excellent also..what a deal..dinner and a show!

Add me to the list of those who miss the pre-princess Akershus. And while it wasn't primarily a food place, I miss the Catwalk Bar at MGM. Great selection of unusual microbrews, and you could order tasty appetizers from the Brown Derby downstairs.

Bonfamille's. Wonderful breakfasts. We ate there every morning during our honeymoon in 2000!
