I am thinking of calling to TRY and get a concierge 1br for our short trip in December. Supposing that they might have an opening, what types of food do they have?

Ours is a bit strange because we are staying at Kidani but going to Universal and it is only for 3 nights so I'm not sure it is worth it.

Thanks - Diane

It's very unlikely you will be able to get it for December. There are only 5 one bedrooms.

I stayed there 2 years ago. For breakfast, it was pretty much a continental breakfast. No hot food except oatmeal. Dinner was appetizers from Boma or Jiko, then desserts later.

When we were there in January, that description pretty much describes the offerings except that breakfast offered both regular oatmeal and quinoa (my favorite :thumbsup2 ) The afternoon service had fruits and cheeses and chips. During the day there are beverages and little snacks like goldfish. The evening appetizers are typically very good ( I loved the fig one - can't remember the name.) There were always at least 2 different ones to choose from.

We were on the wait list for seven months and could not get the concierge 1br we were looking for in May. DW would check each week to be sure we were still in place on the list, etc. It just wasn't in the cards . . .

Good Luck with December.
