True. Regulations would preclude more passengers than there are life preservers. If boat is stated for 10, 10 it is.

Yes, they are only bookable via phone and you can only cancel at the actual marina. The Illuminations cruise we booked is for 10 people and around $360 (plus gratuity). They give you a lot of details when you call - I called at my 180 day window, but I was about 12 hours late, after phone lines opened, so I didn't have high hopes since there are only four boats for this particular cruise. Luckily I managed to snag one. I called (407) 939-7529, which is the standard number to call for these types of things. Be careful in stipulating which one you want - they initially thought I wanted the Pirates and Pals, so I explained the one I wanted in detail.
