What famous people have you seen at Disneyland?

jimmy fallon being escorted into indiana jones. -cutie!

brian seacrest during a christmas filming. (in summer)

Julie andrews & Arnold S. (the governator) during 50th celebration

I have seen Shia Lebouf, David Arquette, Courtney Cox, Marisa Hargitay, and Geena Davis. My favorite was seeing Lance Bass in line for the subs!

Just look for the "plaids", they are normally escorting someone famous.

I always wonder if these people don't want to be bothered,
A) why do they drag along a whole entourage?
B) have ten security guys clearing their path?
C) practically scream "notice me, notice me".

You know, people like Johnny Depp go to DL all the time (when he's in LA) and he's usually so grubby, no one even notices him. I was told by several CMs last year that he had been in and out of the park, with the kids and no one paid him any mind.

It's only the really insecure ones who have to create a commotion...:rolleyes1

Do you mean the ones that do the tours?

We were just at DL this last week and my husband saw Kevin Sorbo "Hercules".
I can't see crap without my glasses so I didn't notice him.

:rotfl2: But aren't they all insecure? I think I agree with you, usually the ones with the large entourage are the ones that aren't really that famous anyway, I think the others are with their families and maybe a bodyguard. But who cares, they're just people with a lot of money.

We were in line with Gloria Estefan and her son at Peter Pan back in 1990. She was very nice and actually chatted with us. Now that I'm a mom, I would never approach a celebrity at Disneyland, especially with their kids. I'm sure she just wanted to spend a "normal" afternoon with her family. The worst part is that we kept running into her and I'm sure she thought we were following her :scared: . She finally put on a hat and sunglasses. :cool2:

I'm sorry, but that's REALLY funny!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh I forgot, I saw Johnny Depp when I went to DL this past July, but he was sitting inside the Pirates of the Caribbean. :rotfl2:

We saw the twins from Suite Life, Zach & Cody. I know that's not their real names but I'm too old to remember what they are:confused3 . We were waiting to get on Matterhorn in June and their entourage passed by in the other direction. People were asking for autographs but they were'nt stopping. Believe they were there for Nemo opening. Saw a short on Disney Channel about it later and they were being interviewed and were wearing the same clothes from that day:happytv: .

I saw Diane Keaton in June of 2006 over at DCA. She was coming out of the GCH entrance just ahead of us. Then later we saw her over by the Sun Wheel buying popcorn for her son who was having a bit of a meltdown! She was dressed sort of crazy, it was over 90 degrees and she had on a black turtle neck, a brown poodle skirt and black leggings. She looked beautiful but I have no idea how she survived that heat or why she would even want to.

DD saw the family from Little People, Big World. Does that count?

And does it count if you saw "someone" but you have no clue who they are? :rotfl:

We saw a family (mom, dad, 2 kids) at the GC and I told DH I was pretty sure the guy was someone famous; he looked really familiar, I just couldn't place him. Of course DH thought I was nuts.
Later that day we watched as the same family made their way onto space mountain ahead of us courtesy of their escort. Looked like they had a couple of body guard types with them as well.
I still don't know who he was though... but then I also have no clue who some of the celebrities named in this thread are either.
:rolleyes1

That's there real names Zach and Cody. I know I am to old to know this but my 8 year old loves the show.

I was there on 05/05/05 and saw Christina Aguilara, LeAnn Rimes, Julie Andrews and the very cool Art Linkletter. Then again on 07/17/05 and saw Governator and Julie again (??).
At the Candelight Processional a couple of years ago it was Dick Van ****.
Then in August of this year (14th??) it was the cast of HSM2 (High School Musical 2). It was SOOOOOOO loud with all the girls screaming everytime Zac would walk by!!

Also saw MANY stars during the PrimeTime Preview weekends at DCA a few years ago...

The twins from Suite Life are Dylan and Cole Sprouse. They played Adam Sandler's son in Big Daddy, also, when they were 5. I saw Jonathan Taylor Thomas one year when they were filming the Christmas parade special.

I actually never saw the movie "Rudy" - but we did meet Sean Astin with his family. My husband walked right up to him. I was mortified and thrilled at the same time. We actually had a wonderful conversation with him and he introduced us to his family - my husband and he bonded as our family went to Disneyland to "heal" from my husband's recent diagnosis of bi-polar. Sean Astin's mom (Patty Duke) is a great speaker regarding mental health issues. We even got a great family photo with him.

I once saw Luke Perry standing in front of City Hall with his kids. I wanted to tell him he was very important to me during my college years, but I was too shy. Instead, I stood about six feet from him and called everybody I know, whispering "I'm standing next to Luke Perry"

Saw Joey Fatone (Dancing with the Stars) this past April right before Easter while he was still filming Dancing. He and a group were with a tour guide. They had just ridden SM and were off to do something else. I was sitting outside of the ride with a little one in the exit walkway by the arcade. Got a good look at him, but saved him from the fan picture-taking.

I'm a big fan of dancing with the stars and you always hear the celebrities that are on that show talk about how they're now recognized for being on the show instead of what originally made them famous to begin with.

so i had to giggle at your post when you referred to Joey as "dancing with the stars" vs being a member of NSYNC :lmao:

I hate to admit this, but I knew he was from a boy band, but couldn't remember which one. :rotfl2: I thought it was Boys to Men :lmao: My DD quickly correctly her "old" mom.:goodvibes
