What extras are included with concierge?

I am debating about booking a concierge room at a deluxe resort. This trip will be myself, DH, 6 year old DD, and 4 year old DS. What extras or perks are included with a concierge room? Do you think it is worth the extra money?

Thanks a bunch

I'm sure that others will post more details about Concierge at various resorts.

For the sake of your children and your sanity, your #1 asset (my opinion of course) of Concierge is that you can start your day with a "free" leisurely quiet breakfast with the kids relaxing while they watch TV or read or whatever in the concierge room or back in your own room. No lines, no hassle to start the day. Grab and extra bottle of water or pop, take along some coffee. You will begin your day (as a Disney day should be) smiling, relaxed, and ready to go. That is worth the extra $$$ in itself.

DH and I are planning a trip in Nov 03 . We will take our DS (who will be 3 1/2) and our twin DS (who will be 1 ) The twins will stay behind with DH but I'd like to take older DS, my parents will come also. Is this possible?? Thanks, I haven't seen this question addressed. Also will 2 cribs fit in rooms???

Concierge services at the WL include: Itinerary planning, before you arrive curb side check-in, robes & fridge in room, concierge on duty from 7am-10pm 7 days a week, continental breakfast, daily snacks, afternoon tea, wine and cheese, selections in the evening, with a soup and hot hourderves, nightly courduals and deserts. the rooms on the concierge floor only sleep 4 people in each room and do not accomidate 2 cribs. hope this helps

Twinglemum - The sunrise safari is only available to concierge guests. If I were you I'd book the deluxe concierge room at AKL because it has a daybed your 3 1/2 year old could sleep on. Also it has extra square footage which hopefully will accomodate 2 cribs. :) If your parents want to come on the sunrise safari with you then they also have to be AKL concierge guests.

Another option would be a suite at AKL that all 7 of you could share. :) Or, another idea, you could get 2 adjoining concierge rooms and have one of the cribs with your parents in their room, and the other crib in your room.

If you decide all of this is too expensive you should seriously think about renting points for a villa. It would be much cheaper than 2 concierge rooms or a suite. The 2 bedroom villa will comfortably sleep 8 people... that way your parents could do some babysitting at night while you and dh leave!! ;) (I have a 3 year old ds and a 1 year old ds, so I can totally relate) :)

I took the Sunrise Safari about a year ago. There were several pre-school aged kids and toddlers. They were bored silly, and because of this they were disruptive. This is not the same safari you get as a theme park guest. It's detailed, it can get technical. It's not for little kids.

As ar as two cribs in and AKL room, that would be beyond tight...I'd be suprised if they'll do it.
