What exactly is the Star Wars Galactic Spectacular?

i have read and re-read all about the desert party and the right place to view but I still don't exactly understand exactly what the show is? It's not fireworks? And you don't sit? Can someone give me an bit of an understanding? DS is a fan of SW but I don't know if this is for him.

It IS a "fireworks show" that is accompanied by specially-edited dialogue and music clips from the Star Wars films.
But, what sets it apart from being "just" a fireworks show, it that is also features integrated film clips and stills from the Star Wars film series... projected on the Chinese Theater facade (and other spaces in the area.)

Most guests stand to see the show.

I recommend looking at youtube for it. It's a projection show with fireworks, lasers, pyro, etc. A star wars fan would love it, it's also the better of the desert parties in my opinion if your seriously considering that.

+1. Virtually everything is on Youtube. Look for a more recent one as the show used to have more fireworks, and now has more projection images.
