What exactly is Ollivander's?

Is it a store? A show? Like the Jedi Academy at DHS? Can you just browse through the store without having to watch the show? Can you buy stuff there? Or is the only way to see/experience Ollie's to wait on a long line to watch other people get chosen for a wand?

The show is in the front. It mimics the movie where Harry's wand chooses him. The shopkeeper chooses someone in the audience, gives them a wand and you see something either good or bad happen until the proper wand for the person is chosen.

Once you see the show they usher you into the store where you can buy a wand or other merchandise. If you don't want to see the show and just want to browse or buy there is a back entrance. A lot of times you will see a line for this also but it is just people waiting to shop. As people leave they let new people in.

If you don't want to wait in line to get into the store they also opened a new wand cart by Hogwarts
