What exactly is a Tervis mug?

NOT my experience! On 2 out of 4 Dream cruises they ran out of the one I wanted on the FIRST night. Even as recently as January.

To make sure that doesn't happen to you, look at them the first night of shopping and buy what you think you want! You can always return it, but IF the ship sells out, you can't go back and buy it later on.

That sucks. This is just a rule for shopping at any Disney location, if you see it, buy it or else you will regret it later when it's gone.

I've been a Tervis fan for years. I grew up in FL a couple of towns away from where they're made. Now that I live in the NE, I'm so happy that more places sell them.

BB&B also sells cold drink lids with staws and hot drink lids (for coffee).

One of my biggest disappointments on our Alaska cruise was no more Alaska themed Tervis cups. Also the blanket and Alaska plush Mickey and Minnie. All were in the merchandise offerings in the DCL blog but none of them were available by the time our August 11th cruise came around It was pretty slim pickings for Alaska merchandise by that point.

So yeah, I agree. If you see something you want, don't wait. Buy it right then and there.

Oh, another note on Tervis cups. You can also design your own. After our Dream cruise, I used pictures I took of my kids and also one of the ship and made my own Tervis on their website. That is still one of my favorite ones

Those things you've seen at Publix all these years (they have a huge area of them at the Publixes in the Orlando area, at least) are the things everyone's talking about.

I just purchased clearance Tervis mugs at our local BBB and was able to use 20% coupons on them too. I got a 16oz Olaf tumbler with lid, a 16oz Pink "Fight Like A Girl" tumbler with a lid, a 24oz Mom tumbler with lid and a "Dad" water bottle. Grand total was approx $29 for all four. I felt like I had won the lottery...LOL
