We are flying MHT-MCO. Bags, bags with straps, laptops, DS, iphones, purses, kids bags, books... What are the current allowances?
My BIL flew from Ottawa to Detroit then to MCO at the beginning of Jan and he was not allowed to take on his laptop bag with the cameras because the bag had straps??? He had to check it at the last minute and he didn't take out his stuff. Anyway, it was never seen again! Had to buy a new camera for Disney. Even his little boy had to get rid of his backpack and take his books in his hand on board.
Now, I'm assuming this was at the height of the xmas day security reactions. And it was an international flight with Delta originating in Canada.
I just don't want to be caught by surprise. We drive 12 hrs to Manchester NH to catch our flights and so there's lots of time to get stuff into the checked bags if needed. I just really don't want to check my macbook
and can't imagine being anywhere without it. Not to mention all of the rest of our techno stuff we NEED on board. Not really, but it would make life easier flying with three kiddies.
