I remember they were buliding it, we even rode past it, and then it was postponed.

Anyone know? Just curious.

New value hotel similar in design to ASSp, ASMo, ASMU. The theme is the 50's throuth the 90's with icons such as bowling pins, cell phones, rubik's cubes, big wheels, and hoola hoops.

It is located next to the Caribbean Beach Resort and is a total eyesore. If this is the best Disney can do in Florida I have little hope for the future.

It proves once again when Disney is footing the bill you get garbage and when it is "Other People's Money" you get things like TDS and the hotels they have.

The opening was postponed indefinitely after 9/11.

Hi Lynn!

I don't know if anyone really knows what they're going to do with Pop Century. I saw it last Feb. when we were staying at CBR... it was partially done and abandoned. I've heard jokes that it will need a refurb. before it ever opens. LOL

Maybe we can get lucky and have a huge sink hole swallow the entire project
