Other than the standard things you use every day, here is our absolute must list off the top of my head:
1. Sunscreen
2. Band-aids
3. Body Glide to avoid blisters (it is a miracle worker for me- and it is great for little kid feet too)
4. Ibuprofen (adults and kids)
5. Big ziplock bag that fits inside purse, but is big enough to put purse in for water rides (Kali;Splash). I also found out it comes in handy for a rainstorm.
6. If it is cold, dollar ponchos for water rides. As far as rain- we prefer the Disney parks ponchos- the dollar ponchos tend to rip the first time you sit down in a ride and get back up.
6. phone charger
7. Camera with an extra battery and a brand new SD card (or one that still has a ton of space). I like using a new one because before we leave we make the first picture of a sheet of paper with our names and cell phone numbers on it in case we lose the camera and someone finds it. (some people just use phones for pics, but I like still having the camera pics)
8. Something to take videos- 5/6 year olds are cute at Disney and some of the character interactions can be funny --- tip: if you are going to see the stepsisters and stepmother at MK, turn on the video camera.
9. a print-out of your ADRs/FP+ (you never know when the app will be glitch or buggy in the parks and you would be able to access it to see your times)
10. If you think your daughter is going to want to collect pressed pennies- a baggie of shiny pennies to us and a bunch of quarters
11. If you are flying, a carry-on for your DD with activities to keep her busy on the plane- I used to go to the store and buy some surprises- things like sticker books; colored pens and pencils with a drawing notebook; activity books; princess coloring sheets; fashion design sets; art kits; new books to read etc- she wouldn't see what was in her bag until she was on the plane- or I might show it to her ahead of time, but she couldn't open it.
10. If you got magic bands in the mail- your magic bands.
I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting. When are you going? If it is in the next couple of months, you are probably okay with summer closes. If it is any point between about the middle of November and March, you will need to pack a little of everything because the weather is unpredictable and can change on a dime. It might be a high of 80 and it might be a high of 50. Don't trust the forecast, even the night before you leave home if it is that time of year.
