Hi everyone! We have been to Disney many times and are looking to change it up a bit this time! What else is there to do? We have done all the theme parks...legoland, seaworld and universal. Our kids are 12,9, 6 and 18 months. Looking for some ideas. We will have a day or 2 to spare! Thanks so much!!

Kennedy Space Center
Disney Wilderness Preserve
Any beach (Atlantic or Gulf Coast)
Medieval Times Dinner Theater
Gatorland
Cirque du Soleil
Splitsville Bowling in DtD
Any of the I-Drive attractions on a Go-Orlando ticket

You should go through the Orlando Hotels and Attractions forum and review the trip reports. There are lots of good options. We've recently done WonderWorks/Outta Control Comedy Magic Show and enjoyed it very much. I would also second Medieval Times. The Orlando Eye/Sea Life Aquarium/Madame Tussauds attractions are opening in May.

Free things like tour the deluxe resorts - I know the WL does one and so does the BW, maybe the GF

Rent a boat - relax by the pool - play mini-golf at Winter/Summer - Blizzard Beach

Go to DTD and walk, maybe shop, around

If you are going before the end of May, check out the very special Zoominations chinese lantern exhibit at the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. They sell combo tickets with the zoo and the special event.

Ever been to Busch Gardens?

We like to go to Harry P Leu gardens (usually free on Monday mornings). The Orlando Science center is nearby.

Do you have any memberships into science centers / zoos / gardens? Often you can get reciprocal admissions to other locations when you travel.

if you're looking for something a bit more leisurely i'd suggest homosassa springs (home of the manatee) and weeki wachee springs (home of the mermaid).

i did both in the same day last july but thats because i've been to both a number of times and knew exactly what i wanted to do at each.

but they could easily be 2 separate very leisurely days.

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of Art in Winter Park; it is one of the largest collections of stained glass anywhere in the world.

If your kids like marine animals, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Clearwater; home of Winter the dolphin and friends. In summer, you can even send the kids to day camp activities there.

Nearby are a bunch of natural Florida springs, many of which have swimming, or tubing (natural lazy river). These are pretty fun.
