What else do you take to parks?

I am only planning to take a fanny pack- it will have tickets, money, camera, sunscreen, maps-we plan to buy water in parks-we will be there next week-Thanks

I would add a poncho in case of rain.

I will have a pocket sized notebook or my PDA with me (haven't decided yet) that way I have something to do in line. (slightly ADD I think ) I can doodle, write trip reports, whatever. I will also have a granola bar or two for snacks if necessary.

Sounds about right, the less the better. Sunglasses, credit card just in case, ID, tissues, maybe aspirin. Have a great time.
