ADRs booked
BBB booked for DD
DD suitcase is started packing
DD and I made Mousekeeping envelopes and they are Stuffed :) though i may add an extra dollar a day... :)

I have some 2007 guide books

Want to order DD a Slipper Dest for our dinner at Narcoosees but havent dne that yet... When do I do this - before I leave??? :confused3

DD has a lanyard and about 4 pins

I am thinking about ordering DH a Welcome basket for the trip with a few things in it... or should I make my own?? I dont know he would probably think its stupid... lol

Anyways just checking in what else we should do?? Plan???

Isn't the wait a killer?! :rolleyes1

I've found that it really adds to the excitement of the trip though!

I don't know about the slipper at Narcoosees, but I ordered DS's B-day cake a few days before we left and will do the same for DD's birthday this trip.

As for the basket, maybe order one for all of you or just to your DD. I got a beautiful basket last trip from Disney Florist full of all sorts of treats. The card said "welcome back! We missed you! Love, Your Disney Friends" They could put specific character names. The kid thought it was sooo cool that they got the basket. I'm going to order a birthday basket for DD for our trip next month.

Good luck! Have a magical vacation!

Go through the various parks and pick which rides/shows you want to see. If you aren't sure about a ride, check Youtube to see if there are videos of the ride. You'd be surprised at how many people film and upload videos of rides. I suggest signing up for Tour Guide Mike and planning an itinerary using his advice and the list of attractions you want to see. By having a touring plan you can maximize what you see on your trip and minimize waiting in lines. Also, you should double check your ADR's vs. TGM's advice on which days to visit which park. You may want to reshuffle things if you your current ADR's have you in the wrong park on the wrong day (based on crowds).

Hey, we're going to be there at the same time! We're going from May 3-May 17 and staying off-site. You're the first person I've seen on here that will be there at the same time!

I have no advice for you. You're already a few steps ahead of me in the planning process!!

The waiting is the hardest part!! Here are some ideas:

* make custom autograph book.....dd will get tons of attention from the characters

* make some fun t-shirts for the trip--- check out the Creative DISigns board for ideas on both of the above

* start collecting your quarters and pennies for the penny press machine

* once you get to WDW, buy some locking pin backs so you don't lose any of your new collection....the mickey-head backs come off really easy.

* make sure your camera is in shape -- have your batteries, memory cards/film ready and also practice your quick draw

* shop for "Tink" gifts if that's your thing --- every night or every time you leave for the day, Tink sneaks in and leaves a little something for dd (sunglasses, light spinning toy, pins, jibbitz, etc)...even a little sprinkle of glitter as pixie dust.

* break in any new shoes, including crocs

* pack up dd a bag of things to do on the plane (books, coloring books, music, snacks, etc)

I love the idea of making up your dh a little goody bag too! Enjoy the anticipation...it's not too much further!

Go to the customs thread (on this board) or to the DISign board (at the bottom of the main page). After a short time there, you'll have lots more to obsess about. Mainly, what will you wear for each day and at each park, etc? Lots of fun.

I have 2 questions...what is a Slipper Dest? And, for mousekeeping, do you leave an envelope for each day, or just the last day of your trip? Also, who do you leave them for and how much? We've never been to WDW before, just the Disney Cruise!!
TIA

2 months is a perfect amount of time to make (or order) some matching Disney t-shirts for your family. Do it! You'll love how they'll look in your pictures!! My family wears matching Disney tees each day of our trips. We all wear black shorts to match. Looks great!!
