I was starting to look forward to our trip on Sunday, but now I am stressing again. One part of our group still haven't received their hopper tickets. We got 4day hopper for the price of 3, from the same company. I got mine 8 days after ordering (6 wks ago) and the other group still haven't received theirs. And I seem to be getting the blame (they haven't come straight out and said it, but .....). We are tracing them and are now told maybe Friday, it's just cutting it too close. Our last post before we go is Friday. I swear I could cry.

Ah yes, My darling sister....things just couldn't get any worse....disposable nappies...

Instead of my sister loading up a suitcase with nappies, is there anywhere at DLRP to get them?I told her safer to bring some with her at least just in case, but all she can do is complain about having to bring them. Like it's my fault if there isn't somewhere to get them. Good god, in future I am not telling anyone where I am going until the day I am travelling so that no one can decide to come with me.

I hope your tickets turn up. I am sure they will :thumbsup2

As far as the nappies go I would tell your sister in law to take her own. They dont take up much room if you open the packet and just squeeze them into all the nooks!! You can pick up nappies at Disney but they are small packs, over inflated prices and limited in sizes. If you have time to go shopping to the Auchen supermarket (which is a 5 min train journey)you will get there and am sure they sell all the major brands.

Hope this helps

It is useful to have empty space in your cases to bring back all those souvenirs anyhow so it may as well be used on the way there to carry nappies. An ideal way to create space

Thanks for the info.

Our only problem is that we are flying with Ryanair to Dublin first and then on to France. Ryanair have a limit of 15kg per person. Her daughter is under 2 and even though her ticket was the dearest (20 euro before tax, ours were 1 cent before tax) she is not entitled to luggage allowance. We weighed her bag this evening and it is already 11kg, that's before her baby food and nappies are added.

If she goes over the 15kg, Ryanair charge a ridiculous amount per kilo and she refuses to pay that.

Well she is just going to have to.....

is there no way you could maybe take 5/10 nappies in each case as well as a jar of food. Your sister could take some in her hand luggage as well.

Hope you get it sorted :goodvibes

Don't you just love family!!!! We are off on Friday for 5 days. Really hope it works out for you all. If I see a group wtih loads of nappies trailing will say hi!Regards

Thanks Annie,

You have made me laugh at the thought. I might just lose them all when I get in, pretend I don't know them.

I use Ryanair quite a lot and always go empty handed but come back fully loaded (lol). I know the 15K weight limit is restrictive, but don't forget you can still have 10K's worth of hand luggage. And that's for every adult/child over 2 in your group so I am sure you can get round it somehow.
So, my suggestion is that you get one of those small hand luggage sized trolley cases and use that for her carry on luggage (can put half the nappies in here if required) and then maybe one of you could take her regular stuff (handbag with passports or whatever)
I have to say too, when I flew from Stansted back to Bremen (ryanair) a few weeks ago, my hold luggage was overweight, but the person I was travelling with's hold luggage was way under so they didn't bat an eyelid and let my heavy old case on without charging me anything
Good luck with it all,
