I see that a new edition is out at the end of this month. I am cruising in Aug 2006..should I wait until next year? Does the book change EVERY year? Or is it worth it to get it now to prepare me for the cruise as I'm ridiculously excited about all the planning!!

Thank you!

The Passporter is a great resource. We bought the 2004 edition for our 2004 cruise and have the 2005 on order now for our 2005 cruise. Things do change each year and they try to keep it up to date by providing free downloads on the new information on their website.
It is still a great resource for preparing yourself for the cruise AND giving yourself a dose of Cruise Fever :rotfl:

I've been waiting for the new edition for over a month. Wish I had it when I booked this month, got nervous watching the cabins disappear on the cruise I wanted - hope I didn't make a huge mistake. According to Borders, the the release has now been pushed back to April 7th. I too hope it's not delayed again.

The Passporter folks, Jennifer and Dave, sent an email to everyone on their newsletter list saying that they're caught up with the baby-induced backlog and the new guidebook should be sent out soon. They kindly apologized for being incommunicato. My Amazon order has it shipping at the end of this week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Passporter is an amazing book, my favorite by far. Get the newest edition as soon as it comes out, because I have 2004, and it's a little outdated.

If I have the 2004 deluxe edition, can I just order the refills? Do they do that? It would probably be a lot cheaper than ordering a whole new book. Right?

From what I understand, the 2005 is more on the West Coast cruises. Can anybody shed some light on this?

Thanks.
