We are going to Disney in November and are getting ready to book in the next few weeks! Last time we stayed at OKW any suggestions for this time? I loved OKW but want to try something different this time! We have Myself 32, DH 33, DD 11, DS 6, MIL 54. Looking for something that would be exciting for all! I was thinking Boardwal Villas. What are you're ideas?

We just came back (OK, three weeks ago...) from a stay in The Wilderness Lodge and LOVED IT! Impressive looking, fantastically themed, peaceful and just a joy to stay at. As a matter of fact, it was because of this stay (on rented points) that we decided to join DVC. (Now if the state of NH will just get their act together, Disney will finally be able to send us our paperwork and we will officially be DVC members!).

Hi,

Another vote for VWL!! Been twice. Love it!!

My kids were 11 and 9 during our last visit. We stayed at BCV but they were able to tour BWV and VWL. In their opinion, VWL looked boring -- but they loved BWV. Also, with MIL around it might be really nice for you and DH to take the quick walk to Epcot in the evenings for a little "alone" time.

how about BCV - the kids will love the swimming pool - and you and your spouse will love being close to Epcot - especially if you are going doing the food/wine festavial.

Being members at OKW & BCV I have to side with BCV, they are near the action and your kids will love the pool!!!!!!!!! We usually stay at OKW, it's the our favorite, but when the grandchildren come down it's the BCV!

We are members of BWV and we chose it for the following reasons:
1) Proximity to Epcot / MGM (Same as BCV)
2) Excitement of Boardwalk (BCV is close but not quite the same)
3) Nice pool (Not quite as nice as BCV though)
3) Standard View rooms have lower price per night than BCV.

Thanks! Everyone some great ideas! I LOVE MGM!!!! It's my favorite Park of All! So I guess for now the Boardwalk wins if not then Beach Club! We have another week before we can book since neither are our home resort so we have a 7 month window! So I can't wait until next week!

Another vote for BWV, but for a different reason than the others have mentioned. If you are renting--again--then DVC is probably in your future. BWV is selling for $10 pp cheaper on resale than BCV, I don't know why. I could make a rude analogy here, but I won't ;) Let's just say that you can save $10 pp and still stay there as a member. It's a wonderful location for those with kids, and the Boardwalk is great for adults, too. Your teens, when they grow that old, will especially love BWV, so think ahead. :goodvibes
